Two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot get an unexpected opportunity to spend one more day with their late dad and embark on an extraordinary quest aboard Barley’s epic van Guinevere. Like any good quest, their journey is filled with magic spells, cryptic maps, impossible obstacles, and unimaginable discoveries. But when the boys’ fearless mom Laurel realizes that her sons are missing, she teams up with a part-lion, part-bat, part-scorpion, former warrior – aka The Manticore – and heads off to find them. Perilous curses aside, this one magical day could mean more than any of them ever dreamed. (Source: Disney)

At first I’m quite sceptical of this movie since the art of the animation is not the design that I am fond of. It gave out the feel of Trolls, an animation by Dreamwork by which to be honest not a fan of that animation.
But, I’m glad that I joined in watching the animation as it has a good story concept. True, it is a bit cliché on the plot just like other Pixar animation. However, it is a good kind of cliché. I love the fantasy adventure accompanied with some comedy and at the same time tugging your heartstrings.
It’s not super great but it’s a good movie to watch especially with your family and friends.
