Seeing how successful the first movie was, it doesn't surprise us that the long awaited sequel was a hit that it quickly become trending on Netflix after it was released on July 24, 2020.
After watching the sequel of To All The Boys I Loved Before, I had to admit that I'm a bit skeptical to see the sequel for Kissing Booth but surprisingly the sequel was better that the first movie!
So the story picked up where they left off where Elle having a distance relationship with Flynn after he moved to Boston for Harvard. She tries to fill up her day to day activities with hanging out with her best friend Lee, along his girlfriend, Rachel. However, Rachel doesn't seem to favor their close relationship and Lee's relationship began to fall apart. Elle in the other hand also having trouble with her relationship with Flynn after meeting a friend of his named Chloe, who seems very close to Flynn.
Knowing Flynn's past history, Elle began to doubt their relationship. As their relationship grow distance, Elle tried to focus on her dance competition so she could win the money for her college with the help of the new guy, Marco. Their relationship developed into friendship though at developed into a friendship though at first they started off on the wrong foot.
All the characters in the movie were neatly introduced and you can see more of Elle and Lee's sweet friendship goals here comparing to the first one. The storyline also well-scripted, and most of all the ending was promising.
To conclude my review, haters gonna hate this movie but I would definitely recommend this movie for those who like chick-flick as it worth my two hours of watching it!
